Our Passion
Strokes Arts values creativity and self expression! We believe that kids should express themselves beyond just math or science. At Strokes, we let each child express their imagination; from a wild flower to a hanging monkey to a 'magical' horse, we teach all! Each student learns the elements of art (form,line,color,space,texture) and properties of color (hue,value,saturation) and understanding warm and cool colors.Over a period of time, students create their own projects.
About the Instructor
My love for art started early with drawing and painting just about everywhere, even at the back of my school journals. Blank spaces were not appealing, so I filled them with shapes or paint. I actively participated in art competitions, painting from memory and expressing my imagination. I won a gold medal at the National Art Competition. I pursued my love for Art and earned a Masters degree in Media Arts from University of London (U.K.) Strokes Arts opened in July 2012 and has received positive strokes from children and parents alike!
I continue to learn as I teach kids of varying skill sets, and I hope to help them pursue their love for art. I find immense happiness in teaching students to paint our world!
