Creative Learning
Ages 6 - 8 years: They develop their fine motor skills at an early age. Students learn to create art projects using and combining shapes and patterns. This group uses water colors and employs techniques of dry brush, wet in wet, blending, hard and soft, lost and found edges, salt spatter, etc.
Ages 8- 10 years: Transitioning from watercolor to acrylics, the students learn this fast-drying medium and so practice mixing colors on the palette and the canvas, making gradients of color, glazing by using thin layers of colors, and impasto. They draw and paint animals, landscapes, nature, and seascapes step-by-step.
Creative Journey
Ages 10 -17 years. Students learn to make compositions using the 'puzzle' technique on canvas. Using various art tools and water-based oil paints, they employ the elements of light and shadow, depth and perspective. More importantly, start to use art terms, for example, understanding line and color perspectives. The students learn cool and warm colors, and colour mixing.
